Christian is the co-founder of BangkokStartup. He helps to run the BKK WEB Meetup, teaches at Bangkok University Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship and has co-founded several companies. I've been living almost four years in Thailand and still enjoy SomTum, Muay Thai and the Thai Lifestyle.
Andrey is co-founder of BangkokStartup but is now living in Copenhagen working in Digital Marketing. Back in Russia he worked for the St. Petersburg Technopark and Startup Incubator, where he developed their online marketing activities. He moved on to work with several startups in online travel, corporate training and coffee shops.
Geoffrey is a French undergraduate student currently enrolled at IFAM Business School in Paris. Geoffrey has gained experience by working for different companies in France, USA, and Thailand. Motivated by establishing his own startup in the near future, he hopes to use his interest and knowledge of the quickly expanding Asian market to help other companies improve and grow.
Mervyn Levin is an Honorary Research Fellow in Digital Humanities at University of Sheffield and a Fellow of the UK Royal Society of Arts. Prior to establishing his own company, he worked for UK Government as Head of Digital Content Policy and for Thomson Reuters in various management roles around the world.
Naureen Nayyar moved here from San Francisco where she worked on social media strategy & tech video blogging. Recently she helped run social media for 2014's wikipedia user conference in UK
(@wikimanialondon). She works w/ tech folks, inspiring companies & people at the frontier of new disciplines. She created the first Science Hack Day in Bangkok. Her interests are Data, digital culture, science,(space)travel & brainstorming.
Martin is an experienced technology M&A banker with an entrepreneurial mindset. He worked for leading M&A boutiques on cross-border transactions with a strong focus on emerging markets. He advises start-ups and digital media companies on fundraising, mergers& acquisitions and strategic topics. Before he started his investment banking career, he worked for several IT companies in Germany. Before starting his career, Martin studied at three universities in Europe and holds a M.A. degree in economics (Corporate Finance & Banking). Martin is focused on Southeast Asia and all technology related projects.
Mike is an international development consultant for multilateral and bilateral agencies in the areas of technology, education, and social development. For the past 5 years he has taught introductory technology courses at the Thammasat University Business School and more recently at the newly formed School of Global Studies social entrepreneurship program. He is actively involved in facilitating the growth of the regional tech startup ecosystem by organising premium entrepreneurship, web and mobile based events through Mobile Monday, Startup Weekend, and EdTech Asia.
